Hi, I’m Kristine, the host of the Divorce Goals podcast. I grew up in Spokane, Washington, and have called Liberty Hill, TX, home since 2018, where I share my life with my two teenagers and a lively assortment of pets. My journey has shaped my mission to help others navigate the complexities of divorce with positivity, strategy, and a touch of humor.
A few years ago, I faced a health scare that took nearly three years of advocating for myself to find the answers I needed. I’m happy to say that I am fully recovered and ready to embrace life again! My experiences have inspired me to join a non-profit group called Guardian Community, which organizes events and fundraisers for first responders and military personnel dealing with PTSD. If you see me hosting a fundraiser on a golf course, feel free to come say hi!
My own divorce journey has significantly influenced my work. After my ex-husband received poor advice that derailed our amicable separation, I witnessed firsthand the time, money, and stress that could have been avoided. This experience drives me to empower others to sidestep similar pitfalls and forge a better path forward. Humor plays a crucial role in both my podcast and coaching style; I believe that laughter can turn challenging situations into valuable learning experiences. When I can make someone laugh, I know they’re also absorbing essential lessons, making the process all the more impactful.
My greatest inspiration is my children. I understand how a positive, amicable divorce can benefit kids and how unresolved resentment can undo that good. My aim is to ensure that children feel they have gained more family, rather than lost it. When you tune in to Divorce Goals, I hope you leave feeling inspired, hopeful, and ready to take action. Divorce doesn’t have to anchor you in bitterness; it can be the beginning of a new chapter. Together, let’s equip you with the tools, strategies, and real-life stories to help you achieve your personal divorce goals, no matter where you are in the process.
Let’s get unstuck and move forward—together!
